If you’re in the market for an electric pickup truck, then you need to check out the all-new electric 2023 Ford F-150 Lightning. The available powertrain is two electric motors and a 131-kWh lithium-ion battery that produces 580 horsepower and 775 lb-ft of torque.
Both engines are equipped with four-wheel drive and a single-speed automatic transmission. When properly equipped, the F-150 Lightning can tow up to 8,600 pounds and has a maximum payload of 2,235 pounds.
The F-150 Lightning has a 5.5-foot bed and a 14.1 cubic-foot front trunk.
Interior
The F-150 Lightning is offered in a five-seat Crew Cab style that comes standard with vinyl upholstery, heated front seats, and four-way manually adjustable front seats. Optional interior features include a power tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel with memory setting, multicolor and ventilated front seats, power-adjustable pedals, eight- or 10-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, a heated and leather-wrapped steering wheel, a power-adjustable passenger seat, heated rear seats, driver’s seat memory settings, and cloth, leather, or Nirvana leather upholstery.
The interior is also equipped with standard technology features like a 12-inch digital instrument cluster, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, a 12-inch horizontal touchscreen, dual-zone automatic climate control, Wi-Fi hotspot, wireless smartphone connectivity, navigation, voice recognition, and a six-speaker stereo. In addition, available technology features include Phone As A Key, a 15.5-inch vertical touch screen, a locking console safe, an eight- or 18-speaker Bang & Olufsen stereo, twin-panel moonroof, satellite radio, a universal garage door opener, wireless device charging, and an HD Radio.

There are also several standard safety and driver-assistance features like rearview camera, forward collision warning, rear parking sensors, forward automatic emergency braking, rear parking sensors, lane-departure warning, automatic high-beam headlights, lane-keep assist, rear cross-traffic alert, and blind-spot monitoring.
